Lucy Kwon
she/her
Lucy Kwon is steadfast in the choices she makes, each stroke and color selection a testament to her vast beliefs in her vision. The 19 year old's palette is not confined to a single medium - she defies her limits and explores the rich textures of oil paints to the delicate lines of ink, and the boundless potential of digital art. Can also be seen scrolling through Pinterest for countless hours. To pursue her dreams and develop as an artist, Lucy is currently studying BFA Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, located in the heart of New York City.
Lucy has always had an unpredictable fire in her heart since young. Her home was never in America, Germany, or South Korea, but in the unorganized art supplies and half-ripped sketchbooks. Everywhere she went, she would carry a magenta video player the size of her palm that stored nothing but Korean animations and Studio Ghibli films. She strongly believes to this day that those films were the spark that lit her undying passion and love for art.
